A LITTLE LESS REFRESHING

How CabinSpy works.

Find a sailing. Choose a cabin number or exact category. Let the scheduled checks do the repetition.

What can I monitor?

A numbered cabin, an exact cruise-line category code, or a pair on the same sailing. Paid plans permit unlimited cabin/category selections within the plan sailing limit. The free plan permits one numbered cabin or one exact category on one sailing.

What does occupancy mean?

Enter the total number of people who need to fit in each cabin. CabinSpy checks that passenger count, not ages, prices, or residency. A source that requires ages or does not expose occupancy-specific inventory cannot be treated as confirmed support without a qualified method.

How are adjacent and connecting pairs different?

Adjacent means a documented neighboring pair on the same deck. Connecting means a documented internal connecting door. Both cabins must be available in the same source check for the specified occupancies. Consecutive cabin numbers alone do not establish a pair.

When will I receive an email?

Checks are scheduled for 00:00, 06:00, 12:00, and 18:00 UTC. A match on the first successful observation produces an email. Repeated available results are suppressed. A confirmed unavailable result followed by availability can produce another alert. Multiple new matches on a sailing are grouped into one email for that check.

Does an alert hold the cabin?

No. CabinSpy does not make reservations or create cabin holds. Book it takes you to the captured Cruise.com sailing link. Availability may change before you finish a booking. Contact your travel professional when your booking needs one.

Why does a cabin show Not exposed or Check failed?

Not exposed means the source did not provide enough inventory evidence for that selection. Check failed means the browser check did not finish or passed back unusable evidence. Neither means the cabin is sold out. The last successful check time remains visible.

Can I change or cancel my subscription?

Use Plan & billing to change a paid plan, update a payment method, or cancel through Stripe. New plan prices apply to new purchases and customer-initiated plan changes. Existing subscriptions keep their recorded price while they remain on it. A failed renewal removes paid access when processed, with no grace period. Excess alerts remain paused; choose which eligible free alert to keep.

What happens after departure?

Departed sailings and their watchlists are removed by the daily cleanup job. That frees plan capacity. Billing continues until canceled. Changing, deleting, or replacing a watchlist does not itself cancel a subscription.

Which cruise lines are supported?

Coverage is based on the current source dropdown and successful qualification, not a fixed marketing list. New lines are discovered each month and remain unverified until the collector can establish exact-cabin and occupancy behavior. See Monitoring coverage for the current status.
